Manufacturing
SMT
- Operating flexible SMT lines, Dynamic Controls have a combined capacity of 60M parts per month. All lines are configured to provide flexible, high variety production.
- Dynamic Controls' facilities include Juki and Yamaha placement machines - along with automatic DEK screen printers. Scheduled preventative maintenance ensures continuous, uninterrupted production at all times.
- All lines are capable of handling high density, BGA, micro BGA, LGA, intrusive reflow, RF shields, 0201 and 0.4 mm pitch (QFP) components.
- For quality assurance and improvement we have in-line, top of the range OMRON Win II Automatic Optical Inspection equipment, which give immediate feedback to maintain process control.
- Dynamic Controls' SMT capabilities are supported by an experienced engineering team - their focus is to ensure that set ups and production flows are optimal.
- For product investigations, process control and product improvements we have a Dage XD6500 stand alone 3D X-ray machine.
Assembly
We have full capability for assembling both Through-Hole and mixed technology PCB assemblies and can also offer a number of added value services such as:
Conformal coating
Potting of product and or PCB assemblies
Device programming
Configuration of PCB assemblies prior to system integration or dispatch. Lean tools and techniques are used to highlight any non-value-adding elements within each process. Continuous Improvement Teams (CITs) and Corrective Action Teams (CATs) are then assigned to action changes and improvements.
Flow solder
Dynamic Controls has 3 flow solder lines - one single feed, two multi-feed. One of the multi-feed machines is dedicated to Lead Free.
Final Assembly / Box build
Production lines arranged to suit required output volumes. Line complexity varies from PCB test & calibration to full box build product. Wide variety of product technology capability from small PCB RF communication modules to heavy (60kg+) high power products.
Cable Assembly
Typically included as part of our box build activity, and encompasses a wide variety of cable assembly techniques ranging from simple IDC cable assemblies, through to complete wiring looms.
Lead Free PCB Assembly
Dynamic Controls has both the expertise and technology to help customers transition to lead free production, or to maintain compliance with new global RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) standards. Compliance is essential for Europe and Japan with other major markets moving to adopt also. Lead free services include:
- Lead free SMT and TH assembly
- Lead free wave solder
- Sourcing and supply of lead free PCB boards and components
