What's the difference between a scooter controller and a wheelchair controller?
The main difference is that a scooter controller drives a single drive motor, while a wheelchair controller drives two motors, one for each drive wheel.

What's the difference between an integral controller for wheelchairs and a modular wheelchair system?
Integral wheelchair controllers are 'one-box' solutions, where both the power and user functionality are contained in the same 'box'.

Modular wheelchair systems have two or more 'boxes' that each perform different jobs. By adding another 'box', further functionality will be supported such as actuator, lighting, on-chair or off-chair control.

I'm a wheelchair user and would like to change how my chair performs. Can I do this and what do I need?
Dynamic products have been designed to be customisable in order to fully meet the needs of each individual user. However, some of the programmable settings should not be changed by untrained people as they may potentially put the wheelchair into an unsafe state.

The only way for a user to change the way their vehicle drives is by using (if applicable) the mechanical digital Speed Pot or by changing the Drive Profile (on DX Systems). If driving performance is still not adequate, then further programming can be made by either a trained therapist, dealer or manufacturer.

I have downloaded one of your Installation Manuals, but it doesn't run. Why?
All Dynamic installation manuals are supplied in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. You may not have this program installed onto your systems or have an outdated version.
